U2 for years has been attempting to adapt and appeal to the general masses. One could even consider them once upon at a time “POP” just based on their POPularity. I haven’t listened to this release so I can’t personally weigh in on it, I have no desire either.

What I can comment on is the sneaky digital distribution. It didn’t automatically appear on your computer. You downloaded and installed Itunes and are by choice an Apple user. Just by utilizing their technology and agreeing to their terms of service you have authorized them to automatically update those programs.

If you want to be upset with Apple for choosing U2 to distribute as opposed to an upcoming band called The Indecent I agree they need a new program marketing manager. However, if you choose to opt out of updates and using Apple/Itunes/Iphones/Ipads all together that should clear up unwanted access on your devices. :)

Your dependency on those products are the root of your problems. I have a PC Desktop and PC Laptop and an Android phone, I can’t listen to bad U2 music if I wanted to. It’s not on Spotify.
