Great review – I guess you haven’t heard 80 DAYS – a masterpiece – I got addicted with the kinks at age 16 with release of Kink Kontroversy in 1965 – were ray and dave first started writing their own songs – I was a huge beatles fan at the time but the songs of this album sealed the deal for me for life (Im now 65) The kinks became my big brother as I was the oldest in my family of 4 boys – I disagree with Sleepwalker being the last great kinks album – State of Confusion is awesome – great songs that NEVER get any airplay: TO THE BONE – animal – PICTURE BOOK – i need you – ONLY A DREAM – lost and found – YOU CANT STOP THE MUSIC – moments – STILL SEARCHING – alcohol live – 20TH CENTURY MAN – holiday live – THE HARD WAY – I can go on and on for another 50 or so songs – the kinks – THE MOST underrated ROCK GROUP ever!
