But moreover, I&#039;m moved by the take-away you called out in regard to LANDFALL: &quot;inequality has consequences we frequently forget to notice.&quot; Were I to summarize my motives for writing this book, I couldn&#039;t have said it better than you did.I&#039;ll be in NYC next week, appearing with Pulitzer Prize winner and NYT correspondent Sheri Fink at BookCourt in Brooklyn at 7pm on Saturday Sept 12. We&#039;ll be talking disasters, New Orleans, and the role of literature in giving voice to victims.
