No one was injured. The sidewalk in front of the building has been closed to pedestrians.<span id="more-45225"></span></p><p><img src="http://brooklynheightsblog.com/wp-content/uploads/IMG00020-20120807-1842.jpg" width="420"></p><p><img src="http://brooklynheightsblog.com/wp-content/uploads/IMG00020-20120807-18421.jpg" align="left">This incident comes amidst the church&#8217;s effort to <a href="http://assumptionparishbrooklyn.org/index.php?option=com_content&amp;view=article&amp;id=33:capital-campaign&amp;catid=4">raise funds</a> for much needed repairs on the building, which <a href="http://www.assumptionparishbrooklyn.org/index.php?option=com_content&amp;view=article&amp;id=3&amp;Itemid=9">opened its doors</a> on August 15, 1909.
