Both organizations have held shows and events in the Invisible Dog space before, and will collaborate there again in the coming months.</p><p>Brownstoner <a href="http://www.brownstoner.com/blog/2013/01/two-more-creative-spaces-opening-on-bergen-street/?stream=true">reports</a> that this is the first permanent location in Brooklyn for both organizations. The hours are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.</p><p>Racked reported earlier this month that the vibe is all-American, with exposed brick walls and vintage design objects. Jeans for men and women hang on racks, and are also stored in a shelving unit made up of wooden boxes and accessible by ladder, like a denim library. <span id="more-7747"></span></p><p>The new store carries most of the same labels as the 7th Avenue location: J.Brand, AG, American Vintage, Ben Sherman and LA Made. The launch takes place 6-10 p.m., at 51 Bergen Street.</p><p>The show features the culmination of a three-year project on gender selection focused on India, which was first offered to the public in 2011 at the Holy Daughters exhibition in Paris. The multimedia exhibition comprises sculptures, installations, photographs and videos, which will take over the entire ground floor of the Invisible Dog.</p><p>Included in the opening night exhibition: Dance curated by Simon Dove <span id="more-7149"></span>(performed by Preeti Vasudevan),sound by Mitchell Yoshida, smell by Olivier Delcour and taste by Michael Hamilton of Kingswood.</p><p>For more on the exhibit, which runs through May 27, see <a href="http://www.theinvisibledog.org/holy-river/">here</a>.
