The home furnishings chain will be setting up shop at 252 Atlantic Avenue, along with gym chain Retro Fitness, in a new two-story commercial building called Atlantic Galleria.</p><p>Brownstoner <a href="http://www.brownstoner.com/blog/2012/07/pier-1-to-open-store-on-atlantic-ave/?stream=true">reports</a> that an application for a building permit was filed last week and is awaiting review. Pier 1 currently has five stores in the other boroughs, but this will be its first in Brooklyn.
