Gourd Too Soon?

The Brooklyn Heights Garden of Eden at 180 Montague Street has already rolled out a symbol of autumn: the mighty gourd, (which, as we all know, is a plant of the family Cucurbitaceae). However, summer still has another 17 days to live. The first day of fall is September 22. So what’s the rush?
